Dr. O’Shaughnessy

Dr. O’Shaughnessy is the co-owner of Chappaqua Smiles.

A dedicated dental professional and mother of two, grew up in Larchmont, New York. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2005. Following graduation, she moved to Manhattan to complete advanced training through a general practice residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital.

Dr. O’Shaughnessy is passionate about the connection between oral health and overall wellness, dedicating herself to enhancing her patients’ dental well-being. She believes that with the right care, anyone can achieve the smile they desire, using the most conservative methods possible. Restoring confidence in patients who have been hesitant to smile is the most rewarding aspect of her work. With extensive experience in cosmetic veneers, crowns, bridges, and implant restorations, she is most proud of her compassionate and caring approach to patient care.

An active member of the dental community, Dr. O’Shaughnessy maintains professional affiliations with the New York State Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Seattle Study Club and Greenwich Dental Society. 

As a member of the Seattle Study Club, she actively engages in continuing education to stay at the forefront of the latest dental treatments and research.

She achieved an Associate Fellowship certification in Laser Dentistry, and has been voted top Dentists by Westchester magazine further demonstrating her commitment to advancing her expertise and providing the highest standard of care.
